I wish more of my classmates from the class of 62 were coming to the reunion. This is the first reunion I have been able to come to and will probably be my last one and I was hoping to get to see more of you. Those of you that are coming I am looking forward to seeing you and catching up on what has taken in your life since graduation. see you soon.

We have checked in at the Doubletree, will be at Zapata's later.  But their website says they have Kareoke - I don't think so!

The 1963 History section is interesting.  Looking on YouTube I found https://www.youtube.com/D8_Lx5dBVD8 about the Forest Park Highlands amusement park.  Went there many times as a kid.  And I remembered that it had burned down.  But didn't remember that happened in 1963.  It was the zoo, the Highlands, and the Admiral.  At least the zoo is still there.

I'm sorry I was unable to attend. I had surgery for a knee replacement, a knee that will work. Last year in August was highlighted by a shoulder replacement. Two more, one for knee and one for shoulder, and I can play the role of the bionic woman!

Thanks fo the committee that took the time to put together the 55th reunion event.  It was nice to visit with members of the graduating class AND Marilyn who was in my 1st grade class.  Ann if you would have attended I was ready to point out the sandals I wear - learned from your father who loved Florida.  Carol it was wonderful communicating with you in another language - alles klar!!!

Is there going to be a 60th class reunion?

Sorry I will miss our 60th. Linda and I have a preplanned trip to France that gets me home a couple of days too late. I have attended several of these and always enjoyed seeing my classmates again. My grandkids go to a high school whose anthem is the same tune as East Side's. So, I sing "Hail to the orange, hail to the blue". I look forward to seeing pictures and memorabilia posted to this site following the event. Have a great time. Wishing you all continued health and happiness.

Thank-you to Charles for keeping us all informed.*Thank-you to Sandy Smith and all who helped to make this class reunion so much fun. I still can't believe so you could furnish so much for so little. The band was great!* I found this time, it was so endearing to see those that attended., many I have known for 72 years! Thanks again to all those that made it possible and made it worth the the trip from California. Can;t wait for our 65th!
