Gary was a wonderful, gentle fellow. He was one of my first friends at Longfellow School. He went to Landsdowne and I went to Rock and remet at ESide. Played football and loved being on the team. When I broke my arm in an auto accident in second grade, he brought messages and homework to me as I recuperated. That started it and we were friends whenever we met again.
