Bob Kiser and I went all the way through school together. He come into Harding Grade School in about the fourth grade. We played little leage baseball along with Bob Hill, Eddy Powell, Melvin Pormelly and Marion Whitehead. We nicknamed Bob ( Tiny ) as he was almost a head taller than the rest of us at that time.
Tiny and I were called on the same day for our draft physical back in 1963 or 64. We sat in the same seat on the bus from Belleville to St. Louis, that was the last day and time I seen him. (Harold Stief)
I remember Tiny well but never knew where he got the name. Thanks Harold for the insight. He was always very nice to me and a friend. Was it the service when he passed away?
